Orbit Lens ("the Application") is built as a free educational space tracking application. This Privacy Policy informs users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information for anyone who chooses to use the Application.
Orbit Lens does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personally identifiable information (PII).
When utilizing the "Overhead" tracking feature, Orbit Lens requests high-accuracy GPS coordinates from your device. This data is used strictly locally on your hardware to calculate satellite proximity via vector mathematics. Your location data is never transmitted to our servers, stored externally, tracked over time, or shared with third parties.
The Application utilizes your device's local memory (localStorage) strictly to save your user preferences (such as Metric vs. Imperial units) and offline cached orbital TLE data. This data remains entirely on your physical device and is never transmitted to any external server managed by us.
To provide real-time satellite position calculations, the Application makes direct network requests to download public Two-Line Element (TLE) orbital data.

Because no personal data is collected from any user, children can use the Application safely without data exposure.
